US-based credit union Spero Financial has deployed a new digital banking solution from Lumin Digital, cloud-based digital banking provider.
This move is aimed at delivering an improved banking experience for its over 50,000 members through advanced digital services.
For more than two decades, Spero partnered with a legacy banking provider, but the adoption of Lumin’s solutions marks Spero’s efforts to enhance its members’ banking experience.
The platform introduces three distinct brand themes—Retail, Business, and Teen—to cater to diverse member needs.
Spero’s members are now experiencing the benefits of a modern, cloud-based banking system.
The Lumin platform has introduced enhancements in speed, simplicity, and security across both home and mobile banking services. These improvements are part of Spero’s ongoing efforts to provide enhanced capabilities and features to its members.
Spero chief technology officer senior vice-president Damon Sipe said: “Banking in this digital age requires innovative new tools and services that will help our members succeed.
“We’re proud to be on a platform that prides itself on uptime and puts member goals at the centre of its services.”
Since the platform’s implementation, Spero has seen significant member engagement, with more than 33,000 new retail users and 3,000 new external accounts.
Additionally, the platform has facilitated over 2,500 scheduled transfers.
Lumin Digital chief delivery officer Lisa Daniels said: “We’re thrilled to work with the Spero Financial team, who share our mission of providing best-in-class banking and financial tools for all.
“We’re especially excited that we were able to help Spero provide an entirely new offering to its commercial members and enhance their overall banking experience.”
“Spero Financial implements Lumin Digital’s digital banking platform” was originally created and published by Retail Banker International, a GlobalData owned brand.
